1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.4 inch low over nova scotia this evening will move 
northeast to newfoundland by monday while deepening to 28.3 inches. 
in its wake...a 30.5 inch high over the tennessee valley will 
briefly ridge across the lower lakes tonight...with its axis then 
sliding east across new england monday. another 29.3 inch low will 
then move from western ontario province tuesday to southern quebec 
wednesday. this system will push its trailing cold front across the 
lake wednesday night, with a secondary 29.4 inch coastal low then 
developing along the mid-atlantic coastline wednesday night and 
lingering just off the southern new england coast through thursday 
night.

a ridge averaging 30.20 inches will build over lake erie tonight 
and weaken on monday as a trough averaging 29.90 inches passes to 
the north. a warm front will cross the lake on tuesday ahead of
strong low pressure 29.30 inches crossing the upper midwest. 
this low will deepen to 29.20 inches and move through the 
northern lakes on wednesday and extend a cold front across the 
lake. a trough averaging 29.80 inches will linger over the lake
thursday and friday.
