waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.3 inch high stretching from the great lakes to 
the southeast u.s. will push off the coast tonight through 
wednesday. an area of low pressure will pass to the west and north 
of the lake wednesday, deepening from 29.8 inches down to 29.4 
inches through the day. following this low, another 30.3 inch 
surface high will reestablish over the lake for thursday. the 
surface high will then track east off the atlantic coast through 
friday allowing for another cold frontal passage. a 29.4 inch low 
near james bay will drag its cold front across the lake friday night 
into saturday. a 29.7 inch surface low will track from the ohio 
valley to new england sunday into early monday, deepening to 29.5 
inches.

night. low pressure 29.50 inches will enter the northern great 
lakes on friday bringing a warm front across the area friday 
morning, followed by a cold front friday night. low pressure 29.60
inches will move through the area on saturday night into sunday.
