a trough averaging 29.7 inches lingers over the lake ontario region 
today. a high pressure ridge averaging 30.2 inches begins to build 
from the canadian prairies tonight before settling over lake ontario 
and vicinity by this saturday. the ridge begins to exit eastward 
saturday night through sunday morning and allows a warm front to 
sweep northeastward across lake ontario as a low of 29.7 inches 
moves eastward across the northern great lakes. this low should move 
generally east-southeastward from near the northern great lakes to 
near the gulf of maine later sunday through this monday. the low 
track should allow a cold front to sweep eastward across lake 
ontario sunday evening through sunday night. behind the cold front, 
a high pressure ridge averaging 30.0 inches should attempt to build 
from the upper midwest through monday.
