waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.9 inch trough will move across the lake overnight.
a 30.4 inch surface high over the ohio valley friday will drift 
east along the east coast saturday. a trough of low pressure 
averaging 29.9 inches will then move across the great lakes and 
into new england saturday night and sunday. a 29.0 inch low will 
track across james bay on monday and into the canadian maritimes 
tuesday pushing its trailing cold front across the lake.
