waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.2 inch low will move across southern quebec 
into the canadian maritimes early this morning. a 30.2 inch high 
over the ohio valley this morning will cross the carolinas this 
afternoon. a 29.4 inch low south of georgian bay monday morning 
will push its associated cold front across lake ontario late 
monday then the front will stall south of the lake on tuesday. the
front will then track back north on wednesday as a warm front as 
low pressure develops near minnesota and deepens to 29.0 inches. 
this low will move to near james bay by thursday.
