for waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on lake superior.
waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.
.synopsis...a 30.1 inch high pressure ridge over the upper great
lakes will move east to the east coast by this evening. a 29.5
inch low pressure over southern saskatchewan will move east and be
south of lake winnipeg by this evening. this low will move across
lake superior tonight and into quebec by monday afternoon. a
colorado low of 29.1 inches will organize monday night as a 30.5
inch high builds southeast over northern ontario. the low will
then track northeast, reaching the upper mississippi valley
wednesday morning while the high builds to 30.6 inches as it
shifts to southern quebec. the low is expected to track across
lake superior at 29.3 inches on wednesday night and early
thursday morning. in its wake, 30.5 inch high pressure will build
over the plains on thursday.
