waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.2 inch high over the tennessee valley on friday 
will extend northward across the lake before moving off the coast
friday night. an arctic cold front will then cross the lake later
saturday, with weak troughing then persisting over the lake 
sunday and monday. a 30.7 inch surface high across the ohio valley
on wednesday will extend northward towards the lake.
