waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...the core of a 30.9 inch high over central canada will 
build southward across the plains states through saturday...before 
weakening to 30.4 inches and settling across the gulf coast states 
on sunday. in the process...the far northeastern portion of this 
ridge will slide across the central and eastern great lakes sunday 
and monday...with a weakening 30.0 inch trough then sliding across 
the lake tuesday.

15 knots. lake effect snow. waves 3 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to

chance of lake effect snow early, then a chance of lake effect
snow showers from late morning on. waves 2 feet or less. 
.saturday night...north winds 5 to 15 knots. waves 2 feet or

.sunday...north winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest. waves
