1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a large 30.2 inch high will shift well off the new 
england coast today, with a warm front shifting east of the lake 
this morning, while another 30.2 inch high shifts into the mid 
mississippi and lower ohio valleys. a cold front will cross the lake 
late tonight into wednesday morning, followed by a secondary cold 
front pushing south across the lake thursday night into friday. a 
weak 29.8 inch low over the upper great lakes friday, will move 
southeast into the lower great lakes on saturday.
