waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 28.9 inch low over the mid-saint lawrence valley 
will depart across the canadian maritimes overnight and saturday 
while further deepening to 28.7 inches. in its wake, a large 30.3 
inch high will then build across the ohio valley and lower great 
lakes region through sunday, before sliding east and off the mid-
atlantic coastline on monday. a cold front will slide east across 
the lake later monday and monday night, with another 30.3 inch high 
over the mississippi valley then sliding eastward across the ohio 
valley and mid-atlantic states tuesday and wednesday.
