waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...winds and waves decrease later tuesday morning as the
gradient from an exiting low, 29.70 inches, weakens. favorable
marine conditions the second half of tuesday and most of
wednesday as high pressure, 30.20 inches, moves into the great
lakes. a cold front moving through wednesday night brings
northerly flow behind it, with the potential for gusts at or
above 20 knots, and a slight chance of showers.
