waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.6 inch high will remain over the mid atlantic 
and northeast through tonight. the surface high will drift off 
the east coast monday. a cold front associated with a 29.3 inch 
surface low well to the north near james bay will approach the 
lake tuesday night and wednesday. a 29.7 inch surface low will 
move north along the cold front and off the mid- atlantic coast 
through thursday.
