waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.2 inch high will build across the lower great 
lakes tonight, and then to the southeast states sunday. a fast 
moving cold front will cross the lake late sunday night and monday
from a 29.7 inch low over far northern quebec. this front will 
return north of the lake tuesday as a warm front. a 29.1 inch low 
is then forecast to move into the central great lakes early 
wednesday.
