waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.4 inch low will slowly drift southeast of the 
canadian maritimes through tonight. meanwhile, the lake will be on 
the southern periphery of a large 30.6 inch ridge centered over the 
hudson bay today. a 29.5 inch low will track from the central plains 
tuesday to the ohio valley by wednesday. the low will stall across 
the central appalachians before transitioning to the east coast 
thursday. the 29.5 inch low will move north along the east coast 
through friday. a 30.4 inch high will move into the upper great 
lakes region saturday, while slowly building into the eastern great 
lakes region through sunday.
