.synopsis...a 30.7 inch high over the plains states will weaken to 
30.4 inches while settling across the gulf coast states today. the 
northeastern portion of this ridge will slide across the central and 
eastern great lakes today and monday, with a weakening 30.0 inch 
trough sliding across the lake tuesday. a 30.5 inch high will then 
settle across the plains states wednesday and into the ohio valley 
by thursday.
