for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake ontario

waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.6 inch low will move from quebec to the canadian 
maritimes through friday. a series of cold fronts will move through 
the lower great lakes, with the final arctic front crossing the lake 
on friday. a strong 30.9 inch high will then build from the northern 
plains friday to the great lakes saturday, then northern new england 
by sunday. a 29.7 inch low over the southeast united states sunday 
morning will move to the mid atlantic sunday afternoon, then off the 
new england coast monday while deepening to 29.2 inches. the next 
weak area of low pressure of 29.9 inches will slide across the great 
lakes tuesday.

snow. waves 14 to 18 feet. waves occasionally around 23 feet. 
.tonight...northwest gales to 35 knots diminishing to 15 to
20 knots after midnight. lake effect snow early, then snow
showers likely late in the evening. a chance of snow showers
after midnight. waves 12 to 16 feet subsiding to 4 to 7 feet.
waves occasionally around 20 feet. 
.saturday...northwest winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 5 to
15 knots. a chance of snow showers in the morning. waves 3 to
5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet. 
.saturday night...northwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming east. a
chance of snow showers. waves 2 feet or less. 
.sunday...east winds 15 to 25 knots becoming northeast. snow.
