waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a weak 29.9 inch surface low will slowly cross the lake 
through the afternoon hours. another 30.4 inch high will move across 
the region monday through monday night, before moving off the east 
coast tuesday. a 29.5 inch low will move across the upper great 
lakes tuesday, then a stronger low averaging 29.3 inches will 
approach the region tuesday night and potentially move northwest of 
the lake wednesday. a 29.9 inch high is expected to move into the 
great lakes region thursday.
