waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a surface trough will pass across the lake this morning. 
a 30.2 inch high will then slide from the western great lakes today 
to the lower great lakes by early monday, before drifting off the 
east coast monday night. a weak 29.6 inch low will then cross the 
lower great lakes tuesday night before moving off the new england 
coast wednesday. a 30.1 inch high will then proceed to build from 
the ohio valley wednesday to the mid atlantic thursday.
