waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.8 inch low will move off the carolina coast this 
early morning, then deepen to 28.8 inches as it tracks northeastward 
off the mid-atlantic and new england coastlines through monday. a 
30.1 inch high is then forecast to weaken and slide across the lower 
great lakes on tuesday and new england on wednesday. a 29.4 inch 
area of low pressure will track southeast across the eastern great 
lakes wednesday into early thursday. a surface low of 29.5 inches 
will track from the tennessee valley to the gulf of maine from 
thursday through friday, staying well south and east of the lake.
