1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.6 inch high will build east across ontario and 
quebec tonight, with a ridge extending southward across the lake. a 
compact 29.7 inch low will then move across ohio and pennsylvania 
friday afternoon through friday night before moving off the mid 
atlantic coast by saturday. a ridge of high pressure averaging 30.2 
inches will then build into quebec and new england saturday through 
saturday night. complex low pressure averaging 29.6 inches will then 
cross the lower great lakes sunday night, before moving to northern 
new england and southern quebec monday, then to the canadian 
maritimes by tuesday while deepening to 28.9 inches.
