.synopsis...a 29.3 inch surface low southeast of james bay this
evening, will move to central quebec tuesday. a cold front will
stall east of the lake through wednesday, then a frontal boundary
will lift northward wednesday as a 29.5 wave of low pressure ripples
along the front, with this wave passing just to the west of the lake
wednesday night. this second low will deepen to 29.4 inches as it
moves across southern quebec thursday. a 30.2 inch high will move
across the ohio valley and mid-atlantic region thursday night
through friday. a 29.6 inch surface low will pass across the lake
friday night with a cold front, then shift east of the lake
saturday.

a ridge averaging 30.00 inches will persist across the mid-
atlantic while low pressure of 29.30 inches passes north of the
great lakes into quebec. a stationary front will settle south
and stall across lake erie late tuesday as low pressure of 29.60
inches slides east into the midwest. this low will continue
northeast through the central great lakes on wednesday, first
lifting a warm front north, then pulling a cold front back south across
the area wednesday afternoon. a ridge averaging 30.20 inches will
build into the area on thursday, followed by a stronger low
pressure system 29.40 inches moving east through the great lakes
on friday.
