high pressure steadily increases to at least 30.6 inches over lake 
superior through saturday as a 31.1 inch high currently over the 
northern plains shifts east to the upper mississippi river valley at 
30.9 inches. ridging over the lake weakens to 30.3 inches on sunday 
as a 29.6 inch low moves northeast along the atlantic coast. a 29.8 
inch clipper low crosses the lake monday night, followed by ridging 
of around 30.1 inches during the middle part of next week.
