deepening to 29.4 inches. a trailing cold front will move south 
across the lake late this afternoon. a strong 30.6 inch high will 
then build from the northern plains friday afternoon to the ohio 
valley saturday afternoon and then off the mid atlantic coast 
sunday. a 30.0 inch trough will sag southward across eastern canada 
monday, then move across the eastern great lakes monday night.
