for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake ontario

waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.3 inch low over eastern quebec this evening will 
track northeast tonight while sending its cold front across the 
lake. upon this cold front a wave of low pressure will develop, 
deepening from 29.5 inches this evening over the western waters to 
29.2 inches by tomorrow morning just east of the lake. this surface 
low will then heads towards and across new england tomorrow. a weak 
29.8 inch high will then build in across the lake friday which will 
be followed by a 29.7 inch low and cold front saturday. this low 
will steam off into quebec canada sunday while weakening to 29.9 
inches. meanwhile on sunday a coastal low off the carolina coastline 
of 29.8 inches will deepen to 29.4 inches monday as it tracks 
northeastward, albeit with still great amount of uncertainty to its 
track.

7 feet subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. waves occasionally around
9 feet. 
.thursday night...northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. lake effect
snow in the evening, then snow showers overnight. waves 3 to
6 feet building to 4 to 7 feet. waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.friday...northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming south. a chance
of snow showers. waves 3 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet. 
.friday night...south winds 15 to 25 knots. a chance of snow
showers. waves 3 to 6 feet. 
.saturday...south winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southwest to
30 knots. snow showers likely. waves 3 to 6 feet building to 6 to
