waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...30.3 inch high pressure will build east of the region 
tonight before continuing east and off the mid-atlantic coastline on 
monday. a cold front will then push east across the lake later 
monday and monday night, with another 30.3 inch high over the 
mississippi valley advancing eastward across the ohio valley and mid-
atlantic states tuesday and wednesday. a weak cold front will drop 
across the lake wednesday night with another 30.3 inch surface high 
reestablishing over the lake for thursday. the surface high will 
then track east off the atlantic coast through friday.
