this morning, lake superior is between a low of 29.8 inches in 
southern wisconsin and a high of 30.6 inches over northern quebec. 
the low deepens to 29.7 inches over the straits of mackinac today 
before further deepening to 29.4 inches over western quebec by 
sunday morning. a weak 30.1 inch trough passes over the lake sunday 
night into monday. monday afternoon, 30.6 inch high pressure resides 
over north dakota before moving over wisconsin tuesday morning. the 
high shifts to the lower great lakes tuesday night as a 29.5 inch
low organizes along the montana/saskatchewan border. this low 
moves over the northwest angle wednesday night before moving north
of the lake through thursday morning.
