.synopsis...

this morning, a 29.5 inch trough is over the quebec/ontario line 
draped south from a 29.3 inch low over hudson bay. throughout the 
day, the trough will push fully into quebec while the parent low 
deepens to 29.2 inches. meanwhile, a 30.3 inch high develops over 
saskatchewan. through sunday, this high slides southeast to be over 
minnesota while building to 30.5 inches. monday, the high weakens to 
30.4 inches as it moves over the southern great lakes basin. monday 
afternoon, a 29.7 inch low will develop near north dakota, moving 
over lake superior tuesday morning. a second, stronger clipper low 
will form tuesday over the montana/canada border, absorbing the 
previous low tuesday night at 29.2 inches as it approaches lake 
michigan. the low will weaken slightly to 29.3 inches as it moves 
near the lower great lakes wednesday while 30.1 inch ridging settles 
over the plains. thursday, as the low quickly ejects past the st 
lawrence seaway, high pressure over the canadian rockies builds to 
30.8 inches.
