tonight, lake superior is between a 29.6 inch low over northern
illinois and a 30.5 inch high over quebec. the low moves through the
lower great lakes wednesday at 29.4 inches. thursday, lake superior
will be situated between a 29.3 inch low over the mouth of the st
lawrence river, a 29.4 inch low over north dakota, a 30.3 inch high
over the lower mississippi river valley, and a 30.1 inch ridge over
hudson bay. the dakotas low arrives near the lake friday morning at
near 29.2 inches, then moves into southern quebec friday night. a
30.2 inch ridge will then follow across the upper great lakes
saturday, ahead of an approaching 29.5 inch low that deepens to 29.2
inches over southern michigan sunday evening. monday, the low will
move to the ontario/quebec line while 30.4 inch high pressure
overspreads the northern plains.
