.synopsis...

30.3 inch high pressure remains over lake superior through this 
evening as a 30.4 inch ridge extends from the central plains into 
northern ontario. a 29.6 inch trough will cross the lake thursday 
into thursday night as a 29.6 inch low over northern manitoba 
deepens to 29.3 inches over james bay by friday morning. the trough 
pushes east friday night, allowing a 30.5 inch high to move over the 
lake on saturday. the high will shift east on sunday in advance of 
another weak trough moving into the great lakes early next week, but 
exact strength and timing of this feature remain uncertain.
