friday. on friday, a cold front from the low in ontario will
progress northwest to southeast across the open waters, bringing
briefly gusty northwesterly winds.
winds will diminish into saturday as low pressure exits and high
pressure around 30.2 inches builds into the central great plains
and middle mississippi valley. expect light and variable winds
saturday night before gusty southwesterly winds develop ahead of a
low pressure system tracking across far southern canada sunday
into monday. gales are possible during this time frame, especially
in the northern half of the lake. low pressure will drag a strong
cold front through the lake on monday, shifting winds to
northwesterly and producing additional gale potential through
monday night.
