Across from the Kingston Light house, the sensor is located on USCG Navigation Aid Light #1 on a fixed skeletal tower marking the channel in Kingston, NY. Sensor is out in Hudson River at entrance to Rondout Creek just north of Port Ewen. Sensor has multi-direction wind direction and speed fetches. Weakest fetch would be West. The principal monetary donor was Hardie Truedale and some Hudson Valley Windsurfers colleagues for the Bannerman’s Island and Kingston sensor. Deke Hazirjian in Cornwall on the Hudson is the host of the data relay station . Ned Crossley and Hardie Truedale get credit as the principal two local Hudson River Sensor organizers.
