Alongside Bannerman’s Island (Pollepel Island), sensor is located on USCG Navigation Aid Light #48 on a fixed skeletal tower marking the channel in Cornwall, NY. Sensor is centered in the River just north of Breakneck Ridge and Storm King Mountains. Sensor has multi-direction wind direction and speed fetches. Weakest fetches would be East to NE readings and SW due to mountains. Local Expert? edit Edit this Page!

The principal monetary donor was Hardie Truedale and some Hudson Valley Windsurfers colleagues for the Bannerman’s Island and Kingston sensor. Deke Hazirjian in Cornwall on the Hudson is the host of the data relay station . Ned Crossley and Hardie Truedale get credit as the principal two local Hudson River Sensor organizers.
