lifting further northeast on friday, the high weakens slightly to 
30.5 inches as it moves into the mississippi river valley. the high 
then shifts into the mid-atlantic on saturday while a 29.7 inch low 
pressure lifts from the southern plains towards the great lakes. 
this low eventually reaches michigan's lower peninsula sunday
