waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.6 inch low will remain in the vicinity of hudson
bay, with a cold front trailing this low crossing the lake 
tonight. a 30.1 inch high will then build into the upper great 
lakes tonight and monday before weakening and drifting to 
southern quebec and new england tuesday. a 29.5 inch low over the
mid section of the nation wednesday will move to lower michigan by
thursday.
