Just look at the background in the photo. Does it really look like Donald Trump has any real connection with the little folks that are his most fervent and undying supporters?
Then there is Rep. Kevin McCarthy selling his soul to the devil. No doubt, he's a man that has no real conscience or morals at all, especially after Trump deliberately fanned the flames of the insurgency at the Capital Building arguably trying to overthrow a free and fair election in an attempt to extinguish democracy.
When McCarthy gets back to business this upcoming week, I wonder what he's going to do about Rep. Greene. Will he have the good sense to walk back and end Greene's appointment to the House Education and Labor Committee? Quite honestly, I tend to doubt it because that would surely ruffle the feathers of hard right wing members of his party, and it might upset Donald Trump.
As an aside, I read an interesting tidbit today about California's 23rd District that McCarthy represents. Apparently, his district produces more oil than the state of Oklahoma. I can see why he's a dependably a Republican stooge in more ways than one. |

“Whatever reaction he says he meant to produce by that afternoon, we know he was watching the same live television as the rest of us,” Mr. McConnell said. “A mob was assaulting the Capitol in his name. These criminals were carrying his banners, hanging his flags and screaming their loyalty to him.”
He added: “He did not do his job. He did not take steps so federal law could be faithfully executed and order restored. No, instead, according to public reports, he watched television happily — happily — as the chaos unfolded.”
He voted to acquit!

From The Desk of Donald J. Trump
Donald J. Trump

Good news for Georgia and the Republican Party. Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan won’t be running again for office. He was the one who, along with Governor Brian Kemp, stopped the Georgia State Senate from doing the job they wanted to do on the 2020 Presidential Election Fraud. Duncan’s fight against Election Fraud made him unelectable. His former top aide, Chip Lake, said that the Lieutenant Governor would not win another term in office. Lake said, “I think he was an accident, and this is what happens when accidents happen in politics. They become one and done.” Now maybe the Georgia State Senate and House will build up the courage to expose the large-scale Presidential Election Fraud, which took place in their otherwise wonderful State. Let them just look at the State Senate in Arizona to find out what Leadership and Patriotism is all about!
The denier in chief continues to suggest the election is fraudulent.
His 88,000 votes that won him the electoral college while losing the popular vote by more than 3 million votes in 2016 was an accident. It was a rounding error! A mistake we are still trying to scrape off the bottom of our proverbial political shoe.
He was one and done. |

Why are there so many gullible, angry white people that STILL believe the election was stolen?
Do they not have a single cell in their body that can detect bullcrap? |

The Trump administration pushed the Attorney General to investigate a bizarre conspiracy theory that Biden used Italian satellites to steal the election
Quote: | Trump's White House pushed a bizarre election fraud conspiracy theory involving Italian satellites.
Trump's chief of staff pressed officials to investigate baseless claims of election fraud.
One Department of Justice official branded the conspiracy theory "pure insanity."

Donald Trump's administration pushed for an investigation into a bizarre conspiracy theory that President Joe Biden used Italian satellites to steal the 2020 election, emails released by House lawmakers this week revealed.
The tranche of emails obtained by the House Oversight Committee detail repeated attempts by Trump officials to make the Department of Justice investigate baseless claims of election fraud in an attempt to overturn Biden's election victory - a move that leaders of the department ultimately rejected.
The documents show that Mark Meadows, who was Trump's chief of staff, tried at least five times to pressure Department of Justice officials to investigate various conspiracy theories which suggested the election had been stolen from Trump.
On December 30, Meadows emailed then-acting United States attorney general Jeffrey Rosen details of an alleged plot by which American electoral data was manipulated in Italian facilities.
The email was a translation of a document from a person in Italy who claimed to have "direct knowledge" of the plot.
The person said that US electoral data had been manipulated in Italian facilities in coordination with US intelligence officials from the CIA then loaded onto "military satellites."
They claimed that the true data revealed that Trump was "clearly" the winner of the election, a position they claimed was confirmed by sources within the Italian secret service.
On January 1, Meadows again emailed Rosen about the plot, providing a link to a YouTube video that referenced the conspiracy theory. Rosen forwarded the email to then-acting deputy attorney general Richard Donoghue, who replied: "Pure insanity."
Meadows and Rosen ultimately decided not to investigate the claims of election fraud
Rep. Carolyn Maloney, chairwoman of the House Oversight Committee, said the documents showed that "President Trump tried to corrupt our nation's chief law enforcement agency in a brazen attempt to overturn an election that he lost.
"Those who aided or witnessed President Trump's unlawful actions must answer the Committee's questions about this attempted subversion of democracy," she said. |
