Article on Trump in the August 31, 2015, New Yorker, will be ignored by the far right. The ascendancy of Trump may be one of the final stages in the degradation of the grand old party. Trump is an unabashed sleaze and race baiter. As some of his supporters said this week, he reminds them of George Wallace. Here's a few tidbits from the article:
--The Daily Stormer, America's most popular neo-Nazi news site, endorsed Trump only 12 days after he announced.
--In 2000, Trump secretly ran ads opposing a new casino, which would have benefited the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, denounced by the Tribal leaders as racist and inflammatory. He was fined by the State for concealing the source for the ads.
--Recent polls show that Trump's supporters come from two groups--those ..."with no college degree, and voters who say that immigrants weaken America."
In another interesting bit of research, remembering the postings here of stories about the knockout game, touted repeatedly by Fox in 2013 (Golden Dawn, was that you?), the story notes that Mike King looked in vain for a single actual case of the knockout game--and found none. But it surprises me not at all that those who post, without bothering to check, race-baiting stories of the knockout game have flocked to his camp. The Tea Party is joining in, ignoring his policies that aren't sufficiently conservative for the gut appeal of his immigrant bashing.
Stories of his business dealing are welcome.

Bard demonstrates the validity of the epithet "Golden Dawn", and the truism that those who watch Fox News know less than those who watch no news at all. I will finish the quote from the New Yorker article, showing what the facts reveal about the knockoiut game when an editor and not a Murdoch employee is involved:

| The Uncle Toms these days can sure look different. If you presented these tattooed dreadlocked conservative black hipsters to folks in central Alabama as their Republicans brothers, do you think that they would be taken in and embraced? |

| Why did I know that my "Uncle Toms" reference in the last post would catch some attention? I will admit that I baited the hook to grab some right wing attention, but what about my second sentence? That's where the rubber meets the road, and it's why these black Republican shills wouldn't stand a chance of really fitting in with either the black or white folks from the south. |
