A lot of mainstream windsurfers are getting into the SUP sailing and as a long time longboarder, I'm very happy to see it. Let's take it one more step and bring your SUP sailboard to the Battle of the Bay this Oct. 29th Sat. and compete in the Surf SUP class. 12' and under boards only so it should be lots of fun for all and perfect for us windsurfers with paddles. I know many of you are already planning to be there so let the Windsurfers represent. Big party at the Marin Yacht Club Sat. evening. Many places in the website indicate the races will be Sunday and not Saturday and I couldn't find a date on the schedule itself. Nice graphics though  I realize it's their first year so there could be some kinks for sure. I'm heading up today and hoping it's a fun event. |
