mat-ty, I have a hard time cheering for polluters, but apparently you don't. Still though, the coal industry must compete with other sources of energy. Going backwards won't necessarily work to make America a better place. One only has to see the wholesale pollution in many places in the world to understand the risks of being foolish about our environment.

When wind and solar are the answer let me know. We have 330 million people that depend on fossil fuels to function on a daily basis. The left hates every form of energy we have but offers only scare tactics, and far fetched, unrealistic solutions. Or do you prefer we continue to depend on the Mid-east?

These tens of thousands of "rules" implemented by unelected bureaucrats have very little or no effect on our environment. I've personally been negatively effected by the idiotic minutia. These so called rules protect very little but cost hundreds of millions of dollars in lost income. Income that could create meaningful jobs and a vibrant economy.

Obama-linked activists have a ‘training manual’ for protesting Trump
By Paul Sperry
February 18, 2017

An Obama-tied activist group training tens of thousands of agitators to protest President Trump’s policies plans to hit Republican lawmakers supporting those policies even harder this week, when they return home for the congressional recess and hold town hall meetings and other functions.
Organizing for Action, a group founded by Obama and featured prominently on his new post-presidency website, is distributing a training manual to anti-Trump activists that advises them to bully GOP lawmakers into backing off support for repealing ObamaCare, curbing immigration from high-risk Islamic nations, and building a border wall.

In a new Facebook post, OFA calls on activists to mobilize against Republicans from now until Feb. 26, when “representatives are going to be in their home districts.”

*snip*
As The Post reported, OFA boasts more than 250 offices nationwide and more than 32,000 organizers, with another 25,000 actively under training. Since November, it’s beefed up staff and fundraising, though as a “social welfare” non-profit, it does not have to reveal its donors.

These aren’t typical Black Lives Matter or Occupy Wall Street marchers, but rather professionally trained organizers who go through a six-week training program similar to the training — steeped in Alinsky agitation tactics — Obama received in Chicago when he was a community organizer.

Chicago socialist Saul Alinsky, known by the left as “the father of community organizing,” taught radicals to “rub raw the sores of discontent” and create the conditions for a “revolution.” He dedicated his book, “Rules for Radicals,” to “Lucifer.” Michelle Obama quoted from the book when she helped launch OFA in 2013.

Obama appears to be behind the anti-Trump protests. He praised recent demonstrations against Trump’s travel ban. And last year, after Trump’s upset victory, he personally rallied OFA troops to “protect” his legacy in a conference call. “Now is the time for some organizing,” he said. “So don’t mope” over the election results.
He promised OFA activists he would soon join them in the fray.

IS OFA INVOLVED IN SUPPORTING CANDIDATES FOR ELECTIONS?
No. Neither OFA nor its chapters are involved in supporting candidates for elections or partisan political activity. Its purpose is public policy advocacy and development—in particular, the identification and advancement of goals for progressive change at the federal, state, and local level—and the training and empowering of the next generation of leaders.

19 new lies last week. Does he get impeached at 100, or is it just a technical foul?

In the four weeks since President Donald Trump took office, he’s already made quite a few visits to his luxurious Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The president was set to head down to the “winter White House” again Friday, prompting concerns about just how much these trips are costing. Already Trump, who was vocally critical of Barack Obama’s frequent vacations, is set to outspend the former president on his travel by a long shot.

His three Mar-a-Lago trips since Inauguration Day have cost the federal treasury an estimated $10 million, according to a report by the Washington Post. By that estimate, Trump’s travel will likely cost hundreds of millions more than Obama’s did. The former president’s travel expenses over eight years totaled an estimated $90 million.

“He is not vacationing when he goes to Mar-a-Lago,” White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told the Washington Post in explaining his frequent travel. “The president works nonstop every day of the week, no matter where he is.”

The excessive costs stem from the need for increased security wherever the president is. The South Florida Coast Guard announced in a statement an “increased security zone” around Mar-a-Lago to safeguard Trump and his entourage against terrorist acts and other dangers. Palm Beach County officials planned to ask Washington for tens of thousands of dollars in reimbursement fees for the increased expenses, the Washington Post reported.

The concerns about Trump conducting official business from his Mar-a-Lago estate are not merely financial. The president was criticized for a recent meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Mar-a-Lago in which he took a national security call in the club’s dining area. Other worries stem from the increased burden on the Secret Service.

“It’s a logistical nightmare,” former Secret Service agent Jonathan Wackrow told the Washington Post, explaining that agents are “at severe risk of burnout.”

Trump’s Florida escapes aren’t the first financial burden the president has placed on outside entities. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio requested $35 million from the federal government in reimbursement fees in December for the costs of policing the area around Trump Tower, where Trump headquartered his transition team.

100 less ILLEGALS that we have to support for the rest of their lives would cost us less.

If they are legal, probably more than you'd think.

Quite a few immigrants lost their jobs on that day w/o immigrants day, and I'm glad they did.
All they did was to try to change the language about immigration, nobody, including Trump is against immigration.
It should have been a day w/o illegal immigrants rally, it would have been interesting to see how many people didn't show up for work if that were the case.

again how many outsourced jobs are at mar-a-loco?

How many illegals did he employ in trump tower to build it?

His modeling agency was bringing in not only adult models but teenages and telling them how to lie to immigration so they could stay and work illegally.

The question is how many were working his drug and sex parties illegally.
