.synopsis...a 30.2 inch high will drift across the southeast
states today through friday, with a ridge averaging 30.0 inches
extending north across the ohio valley to the central great lakes.
meanwhile, a 29.7 inch low just off the north carolina coast 
today will move northeast to the gulf of maine by friday afternoon
while deepening to 29.0 inches. this low will continue into the 
canadian maritimes friday night through saturday while deepening 
further to 28.8 inches. a weak 29.7 inch low will then move from 
near the southern tip of lake michigan saturday to offshore of 
southern new england sunday.
