waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.5 inch low draped from eastern new york to 
pennsylvania and ohio will exit across southern new england 
tonight. a 30.0 wedge of high pressure over the upper great lakes 
on friday will then make its way across the lower great lakes 
friday night into the weekend. a warm front will push north 
across the lake sunday night. weak high pressure will be found 
over the lake on monday...then a cold front will push through 
monday night.
