waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.2 inch low over cape cod will deepen to 29.1 
inches as it tracks to the gulf of saint lawrence tonight. in its
wake, a 30.6 inch high will push across the lake later monday and
monday night, before moving on to new england on tuesday. a 29.7 
inch low will then cut across the great lakes wednesday and into 
southern ontario, with its trailing cold front crossing lake 
ontario wednesday night. a secondary surface wave developing 
across the carolinas wednesday night will then deepen to 29.1 
inches as it pushes northeastward along the mid atlantic and new 
england coastlines thursday.

30.60 inches will continue to edge closer to the western great
lakes region throughout the afternoon and evening and will settle
across central wisconsin by monday morning. high pressure will
then push southeast into the ohio valley by monday afternoon and
will relax the pressure gradient across the great lakes, allowing
wind gusts to diminish throughout the day. a low pressure
system...29.60 inches...will then move northeast from the plains
into the great lakes by the midweek period.
