a deepening low of around 29.6 inches over lake superior will drop 
south into the eastern u.p by monday morning. the low then moves to 
quebec on monday while a high pressure of 30.6 inches drops south 
over the plains. this builds weak ridging of 30.0 inches over much 
of lake superior on monday which strengthens to 30.1 inches by 
tuesday morning. a low of at least 29.8 inches then moves over lake 
superior on wednesday. as the low continues east on thursday, a weak 
remnant trough of 30.0 inches extends over the lake. after that, a 
30.8 inch high builds from the canadian prairies into the northern 
plains thursday night through friday. this high will build into the 
upper midwest friday night into saturday.
