weak ridging of 29.7 persists over lake superior today while 29.6 
inch low pressure broadly organizes over the plains and 30.0 inch 
high pressure resides over the ohio river valley. by thursday 
morning, the high will build to 30.2 inches over the mid atlantic 
states while a 29.6 inch low moves from manitoba to northern 
ontario. meanwhile, a developing 29.4 inch colorado low moves to the 
upper mississippi valley by thursday evening. the low reaches 
northern lower michigan friday morning and then quebec by the 
evening hours with broad high pressure over the high plains of at 
least 30.6 inches in its wake. friday night through saturday, a low 
will deepen from 29.9 to 29.7 inches as it moves from the lower 
mississippi valley to the lower great lakes, reaching southern 
quebec sunday morning as 30.5 inch high pressure overspreads the 
plains. the high slides south of the great lakes on monday while a 
29.6 inch low moves into northern ontario.
