A guy in Albuquerque 30 years ago routinely wandered around town wearing nothing but jockey shorts and a sidearm. Both were legal.

U2U2U2 I'm sorry to hear that you are not doing well. I wish you to get better. Never surrender.
I'm live in NYC. My parents who are pretty old and stay home most of the time. Me and my brother deliver them food on weekends. They do go for short walks super early in the morning when no one is around. I have a newborn. So you can imagine. Me and my wife go for a walk sometime in surgical masks. When I go to a food store, I wear N95. I also bought my relatives UV lamps to sterilize clothes, masks to some degree.
I think that all people here are with you. Horrible and unbelievable situation. I feel that I shall not kite or try to foil this summer to avoid unnecessary accidents and possible trips to infected hospitals as I'm a better windsurfer. However, I feel (especially younger crowd) that exercise and windsurfing is necessary considering people keep distance and wear masks when needed. Fresh air and sun are very important for immune system and healthy mind.
Not sure what they will do with beach access in NYC this summer.
Would be interesting to find if this Corona-shit dies in ocean water. 💦

Nice to hear from you. The sentiments are greatly appreciated. Someday I may visit a mate, he lives in Brooklyn. Perhaps a beer or coffee.
The location , in Calif , the guy posted the video of, is magic . In a lot of ways I like it better than the Gorge. Should you get a chance , go there.
I don’t remember neither a wife , nor little one, congratulations .
Iam hoping to stabilize and get some sailing in later this year.
I still have some of those colored fins for my conversions. Take care.

The treatment of human sanitary waste--sewage--includes a disinfection step with either chlorine or similar material. That oxidizes the surface of the virus and takes care of it. However, in many places urban runoff has some human waste, which is not treated before it reaches the ocean. While the ocean is a pretty hostile environment for viruses and bacteria, it is at least theoretically possible to contract an infection. I'd stay away from areas near storm outlets after any significant rainfall.
By the way, there is some research being done measuring virus loads in sewage before treatment to get an idea of how widespread it might be upstream of the treatment plant.

While I can’t say for certain,
I think he is using corona shit, to describe the corona virus.
Not human waste which could be contaminated .
The virus does die in the human stomach, from the acid there, so drinking even a sip of water frequently, ever 15 minutes , may help.

Ford and General Motors , have shut down auto production lines, losing millions daily.
They are both able to change production in plants to make ventilators and face masks.
The time to alter and produce all the parts , in the ventilators was 3/weeks.
When I compare this information to the photos of locked gates where I can’t sail, think about it.
