It's awesome that we can watch the live action during PWA events. This Aloha Classic with crappy but huge waves and zero wind pushed riders to their limit.

I was glad to see Koester sailing well, incredible performance from Lenny, Roediger, Martin, Juban, etc.

Insane hits, aerials, 360s, brutal wipeouts and recoveries.

Agree- it was an amazing show to watch on the livestream, with good camera work and ultra-stoked commentary from Kai Katchadorian. (spelling?) Compared to other highly edited video clips and pictures I've seen, this footage gave a lot a better feel for what the setup at Hookipa is like and how challenging scary and powerful those big Pacific swells are.

Definitely! I enjoyed seeing what they can do in conditions far from ideal. The way some riders struggle, others thrive and recover from incredible situations! Loved it.

I actually learned watching how they worked the waves, timing, selection, choices of turns, etc. Very informative.

Then the following day they had more onshore winds and all of a sudden they had no speed on the peak at the top turn...
