According to the NWS there is a shift in the NW weather pattern. The never ending tropical express of lows will be giving way to a big high by this weekend. Looks like sunny weather with temps back to normal starting sat and lasting into the extended. Finally!

Historically, Clay Feeter's eldest daughter's birthday was the official opening day here on the south coast. That was yesterday. Kira's birthday that is. And we sailed the Rock on north winds. 4.7s mostly. I'm taking that as a good omen. That as well as the models all showing a burly high pressure building in this next week with some swell. With gratitude and pure stoke.

It should be a good "warm up" this weekend with temps in the 80's in PDX and North winds on the coast.

This event will run in conjunction with the Wave Bash. Riders will compete in 10 minute elimination heats to score highest stock air, back loop and forward loop heights of the heat to advance. Jumps must be landed clean to count. Height will be recorded by on-board Shadowbox units and optional onboard video by boom or mast mounted GoPro camera(s).

$200- Highest Stock Air
$200- Highest Backloop
$200- Highest Forward
