Steve...I hope you'll be ok when Loser 45 , loses again. Question for you:
Would you prefer a higher unemployment rate , higher bk rate, negative GDP, Govt shutdown, crashing stock market AND a Trump victory...or a strong economy, strong GDP, unemployment at 3.7%, low bk rate...basically what we have now , and a Biden win?

A...or B. ?

Boggs, that's a huge fantasy. Honestly. C'mon man! You actually like Benny Hill Biden??

We've had 17% inflation Boggs. The market should be 17% above where it's at. Growth in the S&P is really because of inflation. Real wages are down. Repossessions are at 09 levels. Rents are skyrocketing. Not good for the little people that Democrats hate.

Steve ... capitalism is not kind to everyone , and inflation is a regressive tax .. However, as we on shore business, it's quite inflationary . Manufacturing chips in the US v Taiwan or S Korea costs a lot more .. Ditto for many industries , so higher prices are here to stay ..

With credit card delinquency rates at their highest levels in more than a decade, getting approved for a new line of credit is getting harder, Fed analysts warned.

You're really grasping at straws ... we are late cycle with higher rates , consumers can't spend forever ...

While there are plenty of indicators that the economy is doing well, that's not the perception or reality of the general public.

In December 2023, a public opinion survey found that only nine percent of Americans felt that the economy was in an excellent state. Of the Americans surveyed, 42 percent considered the economy to be in a poor state.
