Yes, but that doesn't explain how a super-stiff, very short, unbendable fin provides what it normally called "lift" ... i.e, lateral/upwind lift (actually, resistance to being pushed downwind by sail and body aerodynamic drag). I've had boards with one, 20 cm, thick, frigging RIGID aluminum fin that pinched upwind just fine. |
