None of your other boards will be able to stay with a wave unless it's running dead straight so learning to turn will be irrelevant unless you commit to the one that'll do it on a wave.
The 135 lion should be lots unless you are +240# by chance and even then its stable.

Yes, grantmac017, but first I'm expecting I need to learn to turn at the bottom well enough to have a chance to go back out: total wave neophyte here.

i have been using the 11'5" planing long board for quite some time now.

i call it my wonder board.

i wonder why all my fellow wave sailors hide behind so many excuses to not even try one. sadly they sit on the beach while i and a very few enjoy the surf sailing all too commonly available here and many other parts of the world
