From cliffs looks bigger to newbies, because they cannot delineate exactly where the flat water ends and the wave begins due to the shadow. |

Just shove front wing most forward, and same for fuselage direction.
Wing does not get on foil sooner than windfoil.

This past Sunday was NW 15-24 mph winds at Bodega and Tomales.
Thanksgiving was 10-16 mph from 2-4 at Berkeley. |

I do both.
Get on foil about the same.
With similar sized foils, of course.
But windsurf does need about 1.5 meter bigger sail, in the same wind. |
